Homeschools

We have specifically set aside a Homeschool Day at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm! On Friday, September 12, 2008, open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm bring your Homeschool group to our farm for a fun and educational day. No advanced registration is required, simply pay our school tour rate ($7.95) as you enter.

This is a chance for your group to experience the fun and educational components of our farm at your leisure. Venture into our 5 acre corn maze to learn about renewable energy, explore our Farm Animal Center, hold a baby chick in our Farm Education Center and relax on our educational Farm Tour Wagon Ride.

We have found several advantages to hosting a home school day. First, you can enjoy the farm at your leisure without being put on a specific time schedule. Secondly, Homeschool Day offers you more time to spend at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm (typical school tour days end at 2:00). Third, your group will be able to explore our 5 acre corn maze, where as many school groups do not. Lastly, the only school groups on the farm will be homeschool groups and you will not have to share time with other public or private schools.

As in previous years, our school rate is $7.95 per person. Our general admission rate is $11.95 for ages 3-11, and $13.95 for ages 12 and up. If you visit on a day other than our Homeschool Day, you will be subject to the general admission rates. If the weather is questionable, please check our homepage. We will post on our website if we are closed due to rain. Friday, September 19, 2008, is the designated rain date.
